We hope this blog will develop into an engaging online discourse that reflects what we as a class are currently learning and discussing. If other ASL classes utilize a similar model for an online forum space, an ASL teacher recourse space could be developed (via a social network) where further networking among teachers themselves could occur: using the blogs to represent what areas the class is currently covering.
If on each teacher profile was a link to their class blog, it would be a way for other teachers in the network to “peek” into their classes. This would be a way for ASL teachers to converse and learn from each other, and continually improve their approaches and methods.
